Tommy built an L shaped pull post out of galvanized tubes large enough for a T-post to slide into. At the tall end, you use an 8' t-post (with the top of the tube bent in to catch the notch on the t-post and keeping the brace from riding up on the t-post) For the rest of them, you use a 6 1/2' t-post. No digging post holes. Tommy made a post hole driver for the tractor using a cylinder that works off of the hydraulics of the tractor. You pull the lever and the cylinder pushes the t-post into the ground.

Lift 3
We buy feed in bulk in 55 gal. drums. This is a lift made out of pully's and an old drill with a old dog cable that runs over a pully chained to the rafter of the building to lift the drums. Pull the trigger of the drill to lift and use the reverse switch to lower.

The collar is made out of scrap metal, 2 used lawnmower blades and old chain and is in two parts that fastens around the top of the drum. It works pretty good to lift the feed out of the truck.

Goat Bridge
Goat Bridge
This is a bridge that can be moved by pulling out the re-bar at the top of the V and pick up the unbraced side and push up and over onto the braced side. It can be moved because it is on sled legs and can be used on pastures that are side-by-side that has no connecting gate to use both pastures. Goats love to play on it.

Gate Closer
Electric fence gate closer
This is a poor man's hook used for a electric fence gate closer. Cheaper than the usual hook you buy at the store. It is made out of scrap electrical insulated wire and has very good conductivity.

This is a portable run that is easily moved. It is made of two 12' gates with the top curved bar cut off. The pipes on each end slip over the "c" bracket to hold the gates upright. It has two hooks added to each gate end to hold the removable ends that are 2'x3'. It is approximatly 1'6" wide. We use it when we want to check eyes and to give CD&T shots. It is moved to the catch pens on a cart and set up again and works very well.

Tommy built this metal cage that is made for a large flat digital scale and digital readout attached on the side. It is made with pull up doors on both ends for easy access from either end. It is light enough to pick up with a person on either side.
